My name is Rachel Butch and I am a recent graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. I am currently seeking a full-time position that allows me to combine my skills as a writer with my love for science. Specifically, I would like to write about the scientific research efforts of a company or university.

Growing up in the Pittsburgh area, my parents continuously introduced me to different scientific topics. I cycled through microbiology, psychology, and oncology research labs before realizing that I liked talking about my work in the lab even more than I loved doing it. I hope to find a career that allows me to combine my research knowledge with my writing skills to make scientific findings accessible to everyone.
